Your Host: Anita Welcome to the Great North and to my home. I am happy to provide you with excellent Canadian hospitality with an Australian & New Zealand flare. Hi! My name is Anita and I was born and bred in New Zealand where it takes approximately 3.5 hours to travel from the East coast to the west coast and the sheep far out populate the people. Summer time always brightens everyone up and it's great to get away to cottage country where the lakes are plentiful and the water warm and clear. - Canoeing, Kayaking, fishing, swimming, golfing, hiking, biking, boating, water-skiing, ATV'ing are just to mention a few of what can be enjoyed up here in this idylic setting. Fall would definitely have to be one of my favourite seasons and the favourite of many of my customers too. Out of every window you can see a magical mural of colours that is simply breathtaking. You can simply come and take it easy, or perhaps you would rather indulge in one of the many activities at your disposal. Of course here in Canada the winter's are far more extreme than what I'm used to, with lots of snow and of course plenty of wonderful and exciting activities to do in the snow, for all ages! I invite you to enjoy the winter pleasures that this magical northern wilderness has to offer, away from the hustle and bustle of the city: - Snow shoeing, Cross Country Skiing, Snowmobiling, Ice Skating, Ice Fishing, Dog sledding Tours, Guided Treks (phone for arrangements), winter bonfires... Just to name a few! Accommodation! The house itself is a unique and well structured German style chalet that is set in the bush on the edge of Algonguin Park. I have 2 fully self-contained units available for rental accommodation, which are both situated on the Ground floor, details as follows:
